How does the 14-day free trial work?
Every new account gets full access to its plan for 14 days — no card required. On day 14 your account gently pauses until you choose a plan. Nothing is deleted, and your whole setup is waiting for you when you return.
What are messaging and AI credits?
Messaging credits are a prepaid balance used when Vertu sends email, SMS or WhatsApp messages to your guests. AI replies draw from a separate prepaid AI balance. Mature includes R200 in monthly AI credits for its WhatsApp booking bot, while Custom includes a tailored credit bundle. You can top up either balance at any time.
What does the 1% payment commission mean?
When a guest pays through Vertu — a deposit, a ticket, or a checkout payment — Vertu's platform fee is 1% of the amount processed, plus R1.25 per transaction and VAT. Standard Paystack processing fees also apply. Custom commission rates can be agreed at tenant or plan level, particularly on Mature and Custom.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately, so you can move up as your venue grows or scale back out of season.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like — you keep full access until the end of your current billing cycle, and you won't be billed again.
Is my data mine?
Always. Your venue, booking and guest data belongs to you, and you can export it at any time. We process guest data in line with POPIA, and if you ever leave we'll help you take your data with you.
